The Blackhawk (Black Hawk, Indian Chief) has been built 1971 by the De Vries yard in Aalsmeer as yardnumber 601 with 123´ length. The boat is still owned by the family who gave the order for the build.

There is something very nice about the way the raised pilothouse is integrated into the boatdeck.

Also, speaking in layout terms, dining is a family affair with a regular sized dining room on maindeck forward.

Entertaining seems to be more of a grand scale affair. There are three sitting groups in the main salon, plus the bar amidships, plus the enclosed maindeck aft, from where - to have a smoke - you can step out and down to the fighting chairs. Eventually, for discussing sensitive issues, you can withdraw to the bench in the pilothouse (the location from where the direction is controlled either way).

Blackhawk has been built for an american owner, hence is a Feadship.
